Essex
County Flatwater Canoeing Courses
This course is designed to improve skills of paddlers from novice to experienced. Manoeuvre your canoe with skill and confidence. Safe canoeing practices, equipment knowledge and resources will give you excellent background to canoe with family and friends.

April 15 (evening) and April 17, 18 (all day)
April 29 (evening) and May 1, 2 (all day)

Advanced Canoeing Skills (ORCKA Lakewater 1)
Dates to be announced.
This two-day ORCKA course in Windsor is for competent paddlers who want to perfect their skills and enjoy the thrill of canoeing with precision.

Week-Long Canoe Trips for all Skill Levels
Our Leaders are certified by the Ontario Recreational Canoeing and Kayaking Association as Instructors. All group camping equipment, food, maps and logistics are provided. However, you may use your personal equipment if it is acceptable. Instruction in Canoe Tripping with official recognition is included, if desired, on any trip.
Each trip is priced depending on the time, logistics required and the equipment used.
Temagami Lake Traditional Canoe Trip
Saturday July 17 – Saturday July 24
Enjoy a week-long outdoor trip in the best paddling area of Ontario. Navigation, paddling and camping skills are emphasized while enjoying the adjoining lakes, many islands and circular route.
The ORCKA Canoe Tripping 1 certificate is available.

Killarney
Provincial Park Back Country
Join us for our annual breathtakingly beautiful commune with nature at its colourful best – the red Maples contrasting with the white quartzite rock of the LaCloche mountain range on the northeastern shore of Georgian Bay. We hike to some exceptional lookouts "above the treeline" where we can see Manitoulin Island and many small lakes below.
The ORCKA Canoe Tripping 1 or 2 Certification is available on this trip.

Massasauga Provincial Park Long Weekend
A favourite trip for all paddlers who need a long weekend away from the cares of home. The islands and coastline of Georgian Bay provide an unlimited variety of sheltered waterways and excellent campsites for great swimming and paddling. Perfect for new canoe trippers or experienced paddlers to explore a new provincial park.

Flatwater Instructor Course
Thursday May 20 - Monday May 24
Location: E.M. Wilson Conservation Area, Chatham, Ontario
Camping available on site for those outside the commuting area.
Pre-requisite: ORCKA Flatwater Canoeing and Lakewater 1 Canoeing or
Experience and skills acceptable by the Instructor.
The Flatwater Instructor is qualified to certify candidates in the ORCKA Flatwater Canoeing course.
Dates and prices by arrangement. Events are a minimum of $350.00 for up to 14 people at a time. Call or email for further details.

Cross Country Skiing

Trippers usually pool their vehicles for travel and share driving expenses. Price is all inclusive from the put-in to the take-out.
